Overview
ChalaN is a Laravel-based invoice and billing management system designed to help businesses, freelancers, agencies, and finance teams manage clients, invoices, quotations, services, and payments from a centralized admin dashboard.
The system provides tools for creating, sending, and tracking invoices with tax and discount options, while client profiles can store business information and payment history. Payments can be recorded and reviewed through the management dashboard.
ChalaN supports multiple currencies and includes PDF invoice generation for creating and downloading professional invoice documents. Its database-based language system allows translations to be managed directly from the administration panel.
The application also provides configurable payment gateway options, a built-in installer, responsive Bootstrap 5 interface, and documentation covering installation, user management, and developer customization.
ChalaN is built with Laravel 12.x using an MVC architecture, Blade templates, Bootstrap 5, jQuery, MySQL, Chart.js, and Laravel Mail with SMTP support.
